Martin Potter
Martin is a Partner of Hymans Robertson and Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries with over 25 years’ actuarial experience.
Martin is a strategic adviser to both trustees and sponsors with substantial and complex pension arrangements. Martin has wide experience of negotiating pension de-risking agreements including risk transfer transactions. His clients include leading pension funds for regulated utilities, financial services and a range of public and private companies.
Martin is a member of the Hymans Robertson Board and chairs our Audit and Assurance Group. He is a previous member of Council of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and chair of its Scottish Board. Martin founded the Hymans Robertson Edinburgh office in 2009.
Martin lives in the Trossachs and enjoys walking and running in the hills.
