Julie Baillie
Julie is a Fund Actuary, and has provided advice to LGPS Funds in England and Scotland for over 14 years. She advises on a wide range of pension matters including funding strategy and accounting, with a particular focus on funding issues for employers in the education sector including academies and colleges.
She joined Hymans Robertson in 2022 from the Barnett Waddingham LLP where she qualified as an actuary in 2015, having previously completed a PhD in Applied Mathematics.
Julie uses her extensive knowledge of the relevant pension regulations as well as of pensions-related employment issues such as TUPE and redundancy regulations to provide comprehensive advice in a transparent and easy-to-understand style. She is a key contributor to our client briefing materials on current issues.
