Martin leads our ill health risk management support to LGPS Funds.Working with both LGPS funds and employers , Martin helps them better understand, manage and mitigate ill health retirement risks. He is responsible for the day-to-day operational delivery of IHLI, working with a range of clients from single person contractors to some of the largest LGPS funds. Martin applies a strong collegiate approach to his relationships with both clients and the insurer with a focus on helping clients achieve positive outcomes. 

Martin comes from an actuarial background, having spent several years working in our Public Sector team helping LGPS funds with all things actuarial. 

Martin is also a member of our Diversity & Inclusion team here at Hymans.
