Stephen is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and a Chartered Enterprise Risk Actuary. Based in our Edinburgh office, he joined us in 2015 and since then been a member of both our actuarial and investment teams. Currently an investment consultant, Stephen works with a range of private sector clients providing advice across a range of strategy and implementation issues.

Advising clients ranging in size (AUM between £500m and £6bn) across a range of sectors, Stephen helps his clients develop considered, objectives-led strategies, and has advised from both trustee and corporate perspectives, so he is used to building a collaborative approach.

Stephen has experience of the full range of investment services, including a number of risk settlement exercises, but has a keen interest in helping clients along their journey plan and achieving long term funding objectives. He has recently supported on our internal thinking on the new defined benefit code of practice and is a part of Hymans LDI content team.
