The Hymans Robertson Foundation, a registered charity established by Hymans Robertson LLP, has appointed Marcella Boyle as its first UK CEO.
Marcella has a wealth of experience across public, private and third sectors. She will be tasked with fulfilling the Foundation’s ambitious plans to expand its reach and deepen its aim to make a real difference to the lives of more disadvantaged young people, by helping to improve their financial capability and employability opportunities.
Clive Fortes, the Foundation's Chair welcomed Marcella's appointment:
"We are delighted to have Marcella join the Foundation at this, a crucial time in its growth. Marcella will help drive our strategy and deliver our charitable aims to help more disadvantaged young people secure better financial futures. She will also continue to support and encourage the great volunteering and fundraising efforts already undertaken by staff at Hymans Robertson LLP, and work to develop stronger partnerships to benefit young people and our local communities.
“Marcella has held senior positions across public, private and third sector organisations and her extensive network, passion for volunteering and a shared sense of our Foundation's values coupled with a real eye on impact will ensure our Foundation's aims are achieved for young people and our local communities".
Commenting on her appointment, Marcella said:
“I am thrilled to be joining at this exciting time and am looking forward to leading the Foundation through the next phase of its development. I’m particularly excited to work with the trustees, the staff at Hymans Robertson LLP and charity partners, to support more young people, increase staff volunteering opportunities and develop partnerships with other like-minded organisations across the UK.”
The Foundation was formally incorporated in 2016, following over a decade of charitable activity at Hymans Robertson LLP supporting fundraising, volunteering and grant giving to charities supporting people and communities across the UK. The Foundation receives 2% of the profits generated by Hymans Robertson LLP.
