In this update, we take a look at the latest changes to the buy-out, buy-in and longevity hedging market.

The total value of buy-out and buy-in deals struck in H1 2020 was around £12.6 billion (around £38.8 billion for the year to 30 June 2020). Fifty-five deals, covering liabilities worth £91 billion, have been completed since 30 June 2009.
